Easter has finally come! Christ is risen today indeed. Who went to church this morning? I am always curious how other churches celebrate their Easter services since I do plan to work in ministry eventually. Anyways enough rambling about that.
Report: So today there weren’t a huge amount of kids roughly around 50 elementary and preschool kids combined. It was absolute chaos but it was good and when it is all said and done it was Easter! We had a fun time celebrating the resurrection. Thank you all for the prayer and support.
So Easter no matter what church you attended we were all talking about the same thing! After mourning Christ’s death on the cross on Good Friday and suffering the separation and anticipation of his time in the grave and finally we get to celebrate his resurrection Death could not hold him down, sin has lost its power over us!
Every Easter I am reminded that no matter what sins I have committed, no matter where I have failed in following his will, Christ has paid it all and I have the chance to follow him and start over. A great verse to meditate on is Romans 1:4-5.
“And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name.”
How was your Easter? Isn’t it great to follow a risen Christ?! Our God is not dead he is alive!
