It has certainly been a while since I have posted on here. Well a lot has happened but nothing super extraordinary to note. I finished reading “The Imitation of Christ” for the month of March. I am super excited to start the next Narnia Book for April! Things at the church have been going great 🙂 Once we ironed out how we were going to handle discipline things have gotten much better! I am blessed to be a part of and work for such a wonderful church and cherish and love every moment that I spend there.
For this week I would love it if you could pray for me! It is Easter Sunday this Sunday and it will be my first working with the children and I expect it will be CRAZY! So prayer that things go well and that we would have a bunch of new kids and that we could engage them as for them to come back! 🙂
But for you I hope that you have a very wonderful Holy Week as we are in the midst of it. I hope and pray that as you live this week that you would reflect on the great Sacrifice that God gave for us that we might live in eternal light with him. This Sunday the Pastor spoke on living in “Humble Celebration” I think that is a perfect way to put it. May we approach Easter humbled by out need and desire for Christ as broken sinful people but in celebration with the hope that comes from Christ’s Resurrection. I’ll end this post with a quote:
God Bless you this week!
